Grand Opening - 2011

The opening ceremony for newly renovated radio station VE3SAO was held  on Wednesday September 7th, 2011.
New equipment includes three transceivers: Kenwood TS-590, Kenwood TS-2000 and Yaesu FT-1000 D.
Also three new  Dell computers with 24 inch monitors and RigBlaster interfaces,
Bencher paddles and keys, Alpha-Delta antenna switches, comfortable operator chairs.    
This project was funded in part by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program.

Winter QRP Field Day - Saturday February 6th, 2010 - The Yard Outside VE3SAO Station
The day started with a QRP breakfast at the Blue Parrot Restaurant.
For lunch, homemade bread and hot soup were provided by VE3AXL and VE3XT.

The 40 meter beam is mounted on the second tower - also at 45 feet
