Members are welcome to operate the club station days and evenings.
Every Sunday 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm is a popular time to get together at the station. 

Meetings are held 2:00 pm on the second Sunday of each month, but not July, August and December.

Getting Your Ham Radio License
  • Obtaining the Federal License is now much easier than it used to be.  
  • Morse Code is no longer a requirement.
  • The exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions.
  • The exam tests your knowledge about the radio regulations and basic electricity.    
  • You can study for the exam using self-study, over the Internet.

Taking the Exam
  • One of our club members - Lori Bedford is a Federal Government (Industry Canada) accredited examiner.
  • When you feel you are ready, contact Lori at 622-2746 (cell 630-7688) to make arrangements to take the exam.
  • Once you have passed the exam, you may choose a VE3... or VA3... callsign.
